I have been invited to read from my new novel, “Canticle” at the Daniel Corkery International Summer School in Creedon’s Hotel, Inchegeelagh.

If you are in the area, do call in and join us, and perhaps take in a few more of the lectures and musical evenings at this intimate and eclectic series of events.  This year, the summer school will run from July 15th – 20th, in and around Inchegeelagh. There will be lots of interesting things to do. Check out the website:   Hope to see you there!

February 9th  I was invited by Kevin Higgins to participate in Over the Edge 2018 Showcase in Galway. Ross Hattaway read, too. It was a hugely enjoyable event and we had the chance to meet many fellow writers from west of the Shannon. Thanks to Kevin, and to Charlie Byrne’s Bookstore who were our generous hosts.

January 14th  The first Books Upstairs Sunday reading offered a platform for new work from Turas Press writers and I was delighted to participate . Anamaría Crowe Serrano and Ross Hattaway took part as well, in the company of many friends, old and new, in the beautiful Books Upstairs cafe.

November issue of Totally Dublin carried a substantial feature on my work in founding Turas Press.

November issue of LaganOnline, managed by Colin Dardis, reviewed my recently-published collection, “So Long Calypso.”

October 23rd I was invited to read at the Listeners in the Eden, Rathfarnham, as a featured reader, along with Ross Hattaway. Here we are, happy to have signed lots of books!
