"Canticle," a novel by Liz McSkeane
“Canticle,” a historical novel based on the life of the Spanish poet, St. John of the Cross.

Monday, July 16th, Daniel Corkery Summer School, Inchegeelagh, Co. Cork

I have been invited to read from my new novel, “Canticle” at the Daniel Corkery International Summer School in Creedon’s Hotel, Inchegeelagh.

If you are in the area, do call in and join us, and perhaps take in a few more of the lectures and musical evenings at this intimate and eclectic series of events.  This year, the summer school will run from July 15th – 20th, in and around Inchegeelagh. There will be lots of interesting things to do. Check out the website: http://www.corkery.eachros.net/index.php/school-programme-2015.   Hope to see you there!

February 9th  I was invited by Kevin Higgins to participate in Over the Edge 2018 Showcase in Galway. Ross Hattaway read, too. It was a hugely enjoyable event and we had the chance to meet many fellow writers from west of the Shannon. Thanks to Kevin, and to Charlie Byrne’s Bookstore who were our generous hosts.
